  • Villanova University, with the support of Sr. Cora Marie Billings and Dr. Tia Noelle Pratt, has launched a fully-funded graduate residential position for a lay Black Catholic interested in lay ministry in honor of Sr. Cora Marie’s work. This position will be awarded to an applicant who is committed to Sr. Cora Marie’s work of anti-racism within the Catholic Church in particular. And it includes full tuition remission for a 48-credit M.A. in Ministry and Theology, room and board for two years, and a substantial annual stipend. For the remaining weeks of January, we are collecting NEW CHILDREN's SHOES that will be sent to Ghana. The effort is led by a parishioner, Daniel Adongo. Your goodness in providing strong shoes for children is appreciated. There is a donation box in Church.

Please plan to join us in person or on YouTube on January 16th for this wonderful concert. In addition, the Archdiocese will host a Prayer Service Monday, January 17th at 7 pm at the Miraculous Medal Shrine. May we live our lives in ways that make his dream come true!

On Friday, January 21st people will arrive in Washington, DC to March for Life. This event seeks to raise awareness among elected officials that every life matters, especially that of the unborn child. We gather that day because it was January 22, 1972, that the US Supreme Court rendered its decision in Roe v. Wade which made it legal to kill a child throughout the 9 months of pregancy. God have mercy on our nation! Join Fr. Chris in Marching for Life, email him if you want to ride the bus with him (frchriswalsh@gmail.com)

WE START IN TWO WEEKS - PLEASE SIGN UP!!! Our Life Groups had a wonderful time watching Episodes 1, 2, 3 & 4 during Advent. In 2022 we will watch the remaining episodes of Season One in larger groups on Wednesday (at 1 pm or 7 pm) on January 19, 26, and February 2, 9. Please SIGN UP so we know who to expect.
