Great News for December 11th

Remember…your Parish Christmas gifts will be shared this weekend. The Gift Bag (do not get too excited about the bag it is cheap plastic bag like you get from the store) has a 2020 Calendar, a wonderful book about developing a habit of daily prayer, a missal with the Sunday Readings for the year as you worship form home, a Living Faith Book, a House Blessing Card to place over your front door (inside) and the promise of the pray from your parish family. Bags are available after all masses this weekend and thru a Drive Thru Pick Up on Sunday starting at noon (ending at 1pm or when we run out of bags). Please enter from Williams Avenue side, drive across in front of the Church and exit into Forrest Avenue! Can’t make it this weekend? Call the Parish Office on Monday and hopefully we still have one for YOU!

On Sunday, December 13th our parish will offer a Virtual Christmas Concert from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. The Parish Staff knows that our 2020 Christmas will need an extra effort to feel the joy of Jesus’ birthday! Kenny Arrington and our Choir is putting together an amazing concert that will wow us even more than the annual Soulful Christmas. Please plan to join us virtually it will be a wonderful evening (and available on demand thru Christmas). THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!!!

Are we still having Mass this weekend? YES!!! Since Governor Wolf’s announcement on Thursday, some have asked the question. Father Chris reminds you of the statement from the Commonwealth’s Directives: “Churches, synagogues, temples, mosques and other places of congregate worship are specifically excluded from the limitations set forth above during religious services. These institutions are strongly encouraged to enforce physical distancing and other mitigation measures at their gatherings.” Our RESTORE Team continues to guide us (and enforce) our standards of excellence and we will move forward trusting in Christ! The experience of Worship and Community, and our reception of the Eucharist, is ESSENTIAL in our life as Catholic Christians. If you are not ready for a weekend Mass, please do join us for 8am on Monday to Thursday and Saturday…the Bread of Life awaits you!
