Good News for April 17th

The Image of Divine Mercy in our Church

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Father Chris and the Parish Staff continue to pray for you each day. We know many of you have loved ones and friends who have been sick with this virus. Some have passed. Most have recovered. Many of you are out of work and worried, we know that! Some are anxious, bored or even frustrated. We hear you and we entrust you to the Lord from whom all blessings flow. If you want to speak with one of us during this difficult time, please call us (215-549-3760) or send us an email, we are here for you!

Join us…Facebook or Zoom or thru the Call to Prayer Line!

Join us for this week’s St. Raymond LIVE. In addition to joining on Father Chris’s Facebook Page, you can now join via ZOOM. You will need to download the ZOOM app (it will help you) but you can see and hear the conversation (and make comments) without being on Facebook. This week’s topic is HOW TO HOMESCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN (AND HOW WE CAN ALL HELP PARENTS WHO ARE TRYING THEIR BEST. Join your Church Family from 7pm to 7:45pm.

Take time to think and share your answer to this with others!

Jesus comes to His people!

While we all greatly enjoy the experience of worshipping thru Live Stream, we all miss gathering with one another and especially to receive Holy Communion. We hunger for Jesus and want to feast on his Body & Blood. After much conversation, the Parish Staff and I believe we have come up with a procedure that will allow our community to feast of the Body & Blood of Christ!

Praise God for today!

Caring for Friends, formerly known as Aid for Friends, is a wonderful organization that provides healthy home cooked meals to our seniors who live alone. We have been preparing and serving meals for ten years and it is a blessing to our elders. During this pandemic, we have a need for MORE MEALS. We provide the containers. You cook, package and freeze the meals and then bring them to the Rectory (9:30am and 4:30pm Monday thru Friday during quarantine). If are able to deliver meals, using appropriate precautions, we welcome that as well. Start with information HERE. To arrange pick up of containers, email Arleen.

God speaks to His people…including YOU!

If you would like to be part of a small group watching together (virtually or over the phone) please email Minta Brown.
