The Catholic Call to Prayer is happening each day at noon. The calls last 5-7 minutes and allows us the opportunity to intercede for our need and the needs of others. Please call TOLL FREE 1-877-309-2073 and use Access Code 319-414-445#. Please share this number widely as the Daily Call can be a tremendous vehicle of grace for many people, including those without a Church home at this time.
Drive Thru Prayer happens from 3pm to 4pm seven days a week! Stop by for a quiet moment of prayer, allow Father Chris to pray with you or even go to confession (keeping the proper social distance but allowing for privacy as well). Tell your neighbors too!
SAINT RAYMOND LIVE: A Virtual Town Hall Meeting – We are a parish family who love to talk with each other, learn from each other and ask questions. It is tough doing this during quarantine. So, let’s do it virtually. Father Chris will “host” (look out Steve Harvey) a conversation with a few member of the St. Raymond Family about how they are “coping” with the quarantine. establishing a schedule and boundaries for our “new normal” as well as staying connected “prayed up” during this difficult time. We will host SAINT RAYMOND LIVE on Father Chris’s Facebook Page (Christopher Michael Walsh) as well as the audio will be broadcast over the Call to Prayer Live (please call TOLL FREE 1-877-309-2073 and use Access Code 319-414-445#). Saint Raymond Live will last about 45 minutes and include a time of prayer (depending on the response, we hope to repeat it each Friday night since none of us are “going out”) .
Please stay healthy. Wash your hands. Cover coughs. If you are not feeling well, please call your physician (they are asking us to not go directly to the hospital without calling first). Please continue to respect the “social distancing” of staying six feet away from others and stay at home as much as possible. Continue to wipe down surfaces, door knobs, light switches with bleach water (one gallon of water and 1/3 cup of bleach). If you have concerns, please call the Hotline established by the City of Philadelphia at 1-800-722-7112. If you have questions, please find the answers.
Need something? Need to talk? Please remember Father Chris, Deacon Bill, Richara, Arleen, Minta and Brandi remain in service during this time. There is a Staff Meeting each day at 10am as we pray for the parish and share needs as we learn of them. At this time, we are not aware of any members of the Church Family suffering with the virus. If you are aware of needs – spiritual needs, needs for food, need to talk amidst stress – please call the Parish Office and we will respond to your needs!
