Alleluia Alleluia! He is risen – He is risen indeed!
Join our parish this week for the wonderful celebrations of Holy Week and the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ – the Savior of the World and the One who is the WAY for us!
We will celebrate the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7pm on Thursday, March 24th. This liturgy recalls Jesus giving us His body and blood as well as his example of service in washing the feet of the disciples. The Eucharist is carried into the Chapel to symbolize our Lord going to the Garden for prayer. The Chapel will remain open until 10pm (accessible by the ramp doors).
As the Church reflects on this solemn day, the Church is open for quiet prayer from Noon until 3pm. The Passion Service with Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion happens at 3pm. Following the Service there is a Fish Fry from Noon to 6pm in the Parish Hall and then Stations of the Cross at 7pm. All are welcome.
The Great Vigil will begin at 7pm with the Easter Fire. We will be blessed to welcome 3 new members thru the water of baptism. Join us for this awesome experience of God’s love.
Masses will be at 8am and 10am. While there will be a crowd, it is worth it given what we celebrate! Be there and of course – dress for the day! There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids after the 10am Mass.
