Happy July! The days and weeks continue to move so quickly through 2014…a reminder of how each day truly is a gift from the Lord and must be used to His glory and honor!
Our Summer Camp is going very well. The young people (entering PreK thru 5th grade) are having a great time and the counselors (our teens) are doing a great job! If you know of parents who need a spot for their dear ones, we always have space for more!
The Relics of St. Pope John Paul II will visit Philadelphia this weekend. This is a wonderful opportunity to give praise to God for the life of this humble man and servant of the Church. More info HERE.
The Annual Novena to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at the Carmelite Monastery has begun and will continue until July 16th. This time of grace is a wonderful experience if you can join the nun on Old York Rd. More info HERE.
As we look to this weekend, can you make time to prayerfully Prepare for Sunday Mass? Make 15 minutes to get so much more out of the Liturgy! If we want the blessing to keep coming down, the praises need to keep going up so keep making the commitment to Mass each and every week!
Monday is the Feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the only Native American Saint. Learn her life story…and pray for her intercession!
