Are you ready to Adore Jesus like Pope Francis adores Jesus? This weekend the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, commonly known as Corpus Christi (which is latin for “Body of Christ”). The liturgy offers us time to rejoice in the gift of Jesus’s Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist – a presence that becomes part of us through Holy Communion. What a precious gift indeed!
As we celebrate this weekend, both Masses will conclude with a brief Eucharistic Procession inside of the Church. There will also be a Holy Hour of Adoration in the Chapel (top of the ramp on the side of the Church) at 9am on Sunday. All are welcome to come and adore the Lord! If you want to grow in understanding Jesus’ Real Presence in the Eucharist, take 10 minutes and watch Fr. Barron’s Teaching!
Did you attend Mass elsewhere last week? Get our bulletin HERE.
Summer Camp begins on Monday, June 23rd at 9am. There are still some openings for campers. If you have children (entering PreK to entering Grade 6), neighbors or grandchildren…let them know. It is a wonderful camp that allows the children to grow spiritually, culturally, academically, artistically, socially, and athletically! Contact Michelle Downing at 215-549-3760 for more information.
The Church encourages all Christians to participate in the Fortnight for Freedom, a novena for Religious Freedom. It is an opportunity to invoke God’s blessings on our nation that we might remain a place where all may worship God freely. Find our more (and get resources for prayer) HERE.
Please pray for those in need: a family in need of housing, Esterlita Durham who is need of a kidney transplant, Jim & Vera Sousa who are recovering from illnesses, the Unger family who mourn the passing of their father, parents still in need of help with their children over the summer; a young dad who is looking for work, all those who are in need of the grace of healing and recovery. God grant them the grace they need in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Lastly, do you know how much Jesus loves you? Enough to give his own body and blood for your salvation. That is love…see you in Church to celebrate this love on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 10am. All are welcome in God’s House!
