April 10th News

Are you ready for Holy Week?  Read or not, here it comes…  We will begin Holy Week with Palm Sunday this weekend (Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 10am).  What a blessed opportunity to cry our Hosanna to the Son of David and proclaim Jesus as Lord!  Our parish will be especially blessed as we welcome 100 teenagers and their chaperones joining in our First “Philly World Youth Day” which will be a chance for young people to celebrate their faith and give witness to one another and our entire city as they WALK to the Cathedral on Sunday after Mass.  Please pray for the kind adults who are guiding them through this experience!  Read this Guide to Holy Week (for more details of the events of the coming week).

Did you read our Parish Bulletin for this past weekend?  Lot of good news to share…  We had some technical problems so there is no recording (sorry about that friends).

Can you spend some time prayerfully preparing for the celebration of Palm Sunday.  You get out what you put in you know!

Father Chris will be hearing Confessions on Saturday, April 12th from 4pm to 4:45pm and again on Sunday morning from 9:00am to 9:30am.  Here is a Guide to Preparing for Confession!
