Jan 20th News

Praise God who has allowed us to see a new day and a new week.  We are blessed to be able to continue working out the gift of our salvation!

Were you unable to be with us this past weekend?  You know you can always view the Mass online.  In case you missed us (but of course attended Mass elsewhere), here is this week’s bulletin.

Have you started reading Rediscover Catholicism (the book we gave out at Christmas)?  It is a wonderful (and pretty easy) read.  If you need a copy, ask Deacon Bill when you are in Church.  He will be happy to assist you in obtaining a copy!

We mourn the loss of Mrs, Dorothy Cobb who was buried this past saturday.  Mrs. Cobb, who was 97 at the time of her death, was our most senior member.  May she rest in peace and know the reward of her goodness!

We will start a course on CHURCH HISTORY on Monday, February 10th at 7pm.  The 10 week course will look at the first 500 years of Church History.  We will use videos, some lecture by Father Chris and table conversation to learn together.  No experience necessary.  No cost.  All are welcome!

The Men of our Parish will attend a weekend retreat at Malvern at the end of February; if interested call the Parish office.  If you can’t get away for a weekend, how about a Three Minute Retreat?

Does you family need healing?  Most sure do… There will be a 3 day workshop Feb 7, 8 and 9 at St Martin of Tours Church in NE Philadelphia offered by a priest from Uganda.  Learn more here

Have a blessed week knowing that Jesus loves you!
