To God be the glory…forever and ever!
The Community Meeting with Rep. Cherelle Parker that was scheduled for Wed., Nov. 20th at St. Raymond was cancelled by Rep. Parker’s Office. Nothing has been rescheduled at this time. Let us continue to prayer for peace in our community, in our homes and in our hearts!
The Parish is most grateful to all who are providing donations for our Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway. Please make an effort to bring all donations to the Parish Office by Friday afternoon. We will also accept donations over the weekend when you can place bags on the tables in the back of Church.
This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King. We rejoice as we give praise to our Lord Jesus, King of the Universe. Need a little inspiration in your process of celebrating Jesus as King? Watch this (we promise, you will be moved)!
As you Celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, please consider joining your Saint Raymond Family for 9am Mass on Thursday, Nov. 28th as we give thanks to God from whom all blessings flow. Need some help to “get in the mood for Thanksgiving?” Watch this (again, we promise it will help). God is such a generous giver, pause to say thank you. Here are some prayers to assist with your “giving thanks” at home before the turkey feast!
As Thanksgiving passes, we will begin Advent on Dec. 1st! Yes, the Fr. Chris and Deacon Bill will wear purple and we light that wreath (a reminder that Jesus is the light that shatters the darkness). More to come on Advent next week for sure…
Have your responded for our International Potluck Supper on Dec. 6th at 7pm yet? Contact Michelle in the Parish Office for more information (215-549-3760)
Please plan now to join us Dec 9, 10 and 11 at 7pm each evening for our Advent Revival. Great music and preaching to get you ready for the Coming of the Lord (not just at Christmas, but those very nights of course). We will welcome Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers to our pulpit for 3 great nights! See you there…right?
